Umbraco is based upon the Microsoft .NET platform. and has been around since 2008.

The CMS is on the rise and is known to be safe and robust. Umbraco gives complete control to developers, but is technically more challenging than its counterparts (ex. Joomla, Wordpress,...). Umbraco is well suited for big, complex, multiligual websites.
